Having difficulty logging in?

This website is for registered users of Secure File Transfer. You will need to be a registered user in a Buckinghamshire school or early years provider, or work for a team within the Local Authority to be able to access this site.

When logging in to the system please remember that usernames and passwords are case sensitive.

The system will always ask you for all 3 pieces of information (username, password and memorable word) - even if you have entered the password incorrectly it will still ask for your memorable word.

If you are asked for letters in your memorable word that don't exist (e.g. the 12th and 15th letters when your memorable word is only 7 letters long) then it means that either:

  • you have entered an incorrect or unrecognised username
  • you have entered an incorrect password
  • your account has been locked due to too many incorrect login attempts

Accounts are automatically locked for a short period after 3 incorrect login attempts. If this happens, please wait 30 minutes before attempting to log in again.

If you need to you can request a password reset from the system, using the "Reset your password" link on the login screen. You will need to enter your username and email address - please make sure this is the email address associated with your account. You will then receive an email with a link to follow to reset the password. You will need to enter letters from your memorable word before you can choose a new password.

If you still can't log in to the system, for example if you don't know your memorable word, then please email the below with your username and email address. We aim to respond to all enquiries within 2 working days.
